Indeed, during this long period of history, the very purpose of distillation was to produce a precious floral water, while essential oils were relegated to the status of by-products. <\/div><div> <\/div><div>This period subsequently came to an end, with new distillation and cultivation techniques designed to increase the production of essential oils from plants. All this, supported by the boom in perfumery at the time, meant that essential oils surpassed hydrosols. <\/div><div> <\/div><div>So much so, in fact, that they fell into oblivion, and most of them were discarded as soon as distillation was complete. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.boemia-aroma.com\/boutique-boemia\/eaux-florales-hydrolats\/rose-de-damas-biologique\/\">Rose floral water<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.boemia-aroma.com\/boutique-boemia\/eaux-florales-hydrolats\/hydrolat-de-bleuet-210-ml\/\">cornflower floral water<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.boemia-aroma.com\/boutique-boemia\/eaux-florales-hydrolats\/fleur-doranger-biologique\/\">orange blossom floral water<\/a>,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.boemia-aroma.com\/boutique-boemia\/eaux-florales-hydrolats\/camomille-romaine-biologique\/\">chamomile hydrosol<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.boemia-aroma.com\/boutique-boemia\/eaux-florales-hydrolats\/lavande-officinale-biologique\/\">lavender hydrosol<\/a> were the only ones to be preserved.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"woodmart-title-container woodmart-text-block reset-last-child font-alt wd-font-weight- wd-fontsize-m\"><hr class=\"the7-p-gap\" style=\"padding-bottom: 40px;\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"vc_row wpb_row vc_row-fluid\"><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-12\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><div id=\"wd-60c1a483bf1be\" class=\"title-wrapper wd-wpb set-mb-s reset-last-child wd-rs-60c1a483bf1be wd-title-color-default wd-title-style-default text-left wd-underline-colored\"><div class=\"liner-continer\"><h2 class=\"woodmart-title-container title wd-font-weight-700 wd-fontsize-l\">Hydrolats and floral waters today<\/h2><\/div><\/div><div id=\"wd-60c1a73ec47cf\" class=\"wd-text-block-wrapper wd-wpb wd-rs-60c1a73ec47cf color-scheme-custom text-left \"><div class=\"woodmart-title-container woodmart-text-block reset-last-child font-alt wd-font-weight- wd-fontsize-m\"><div>A bright future for hydrolats. Following the boom in essential oils and aromatherapy over the past 30 years, hydrolats are making a comeback. <\/div><div>More and more hydrolats are being marketed by producers, and demand is growing.<\/div><div>Their ease of use and effective action make them excellent companion products in alternative medicine. Many therapists use them.
