🌿 A unique day to discover the art of distillation at the heart of the Boèmia distillery
Learn the art of distilling aromatic plants and get to the heart of essential oil production with Julien, an expert in the harvesting and distillation of aromatic and medicinal plants.
Looking for anactivity ideain the Aude or wondering what to do today in the Aude? This rare and authentic workshop is the perfect activity for solo, duo or family.
Recommended for lovers of nature, medicinal plants and local experiences, this experience is a perfect fit for tourism in the Aude region, combining know-how and human sharing.
For 6 hours, Julien will share his knowledge of distillation in a warm, natural setting, immersing you in the heart of his distillery in the Aude region.
The morning begins with a guided botanical walk: an invitation to recognize, pick and respect the plants in our environment.
We’ll then prepare the distillation with our large, handcrafted copper alembic, specially designed for professional distillation. The launch of the distillation will mark an important moment, when the first precious drops will be revealed before your very eyes.
While the alembic continues its work, a simple, convivial meal is served to prolong the authentic exchanges.
The afternoon will be devoted to thehistory and secrets of distillation: hydrolats, essential oils, traditional techniques and ancestral know-how.
We’ll explore the first extracts through a sensory tasting, before recording our discoveries and feelings in a personalized plant sheet.
The day will gently end with the presentation of your distilled bottles and a symbolic diploma, a discreet souvenir of an intimate encounter with the art of high-end distillation.
