🌿 A unique experience in the heart of nature around the Boèmia distillery

Julien guides you to discover wild plants on accessible trails around his distillery nestled in the heart of theAude region. During this three-hour discovery walk, you’ll discover the secrets of local medicinal wild plants such as thyme, lavender and rosemary. You’ll learn how to recognize these wild plants, how to pick them properly without damaging them, and the stories and legends that surround them.

📚 What you'll learn in the workshop

This introductory foraging workshop will provide you with invaluable knowledge on the identification, harvesting and uses of aromatic garrigue plants, specific to the Mediterranean climate of Languedoc-Roussillon. At the end of this one-kilometer walk, you’ll return to the distillery, where you’ll share a convivial picnic lunch. This moment of discovery and relaxation will be an opportunity to deepen your knowledge of the traditional uses of wild plants encountered along the way.

🧙‍♂️ An immersion in the art of distillation

After the walk, you’ll have the opportunity to visit Julien’s distillation workshop. Discover the stills and the process of creating locally-produced organic hydrolats and essential oils. You can also explore the distillery’s boutique and leave with products made on site.

Passionate about nature and plants, he carefully gathers, distills and transforms them to bring you all their treasures.

For over 15 years, he has been sharing his knowledge through botanical walks and training courses, which he leads with enthusiasm.
