The Phyt’Arôm conference in Grasse has just come to a close, leaving us at Boèmia with a feeling of deep gratitude and inspiration. For us, producers of essential oils and hydrolats, the road is often a lonely one. But during these few days of meetings, sharing and discoveries, your encouragement and compliments have been an immense source of motivation.
Valuable encounters
The congress was an opportunity to catch up with friends, make new and exciting acquaintances, and enjoy a warm and gracious welcome. Meeting practitioners, pharmacists and producers who, like us, are driven by a love of plants and rigour in their work, was a real pleasure.
Your feedback on our products has touched us. Every exchange, every discussion has reinforced our conviction that the work we do at
A committed conference
Our associate, Camille Comethad the honor of speaking on a subject close to her heart: the sustainability and the sustainability of aromatherapy. Her speech raised crucial questions about the future of our industry, particularly in view of the over-exploitation of certain plant resources. The preservation of our plants, respect for natural cycles and ethical practices are at the heart of our commitment at Boèmia, and Camille brought this message loud and clear to the congress.

Inspiring conferences
The congress was also an opportunity to attend top-quality conferences, which highlighted the major role of essential oils and hydrosols in innovative medical practices. If we had to pick 3?
- Pierre Champy ‘s review of the interactions between essential oils and drugs has opened up some fascinating perspectives. The potential of essential oils as a complement to allopathic medicine is immense, but it requires rigor and precaution.
- International aromatherapy expert Rhiannon Lewis dazzled us with her workshop on hydrolats. Their use continues to grow, particularly in the care of the most fragile patients. Each time we meet this specialist, we’re surprised by the vast possibilities offered by these precious floral waters.
- Philippe Colls ‘ talk also left its mark, with his sharing of the use of hydrolats for bladder instillation. It’s an avant-garde approach that shows we’re not yet at the end of the discoveries and possible uses of these exceptional products.
What's next?
We leave Grasse full of new ideas and motivated to continue producing and promoting quality essential oils and hydrolats. The Phyt’Arôm conference is a wonderful source of inspiration and future collaborations. Next event in 2026? We’ll be there, ready to share our discoveries and advances, and to continue promoting sustainable, ethical aromatherapy.
Thanks to all those who attended and whose enthusiasm strengthens our commitment.
Naturally,
The Boèmia team 🌿
